Thanks to accurate renovation works, this roman convent next to the church of Sant'Ippolito, has been transformed into a functional four star hotel within the immediate proximity of Florence. All details have been composed with taste and care to revive the building without altering its original structure. The result can be noticed especially in the inner court, where nowadays the original bow-corridor and an old fountain made of stone, form the perfect background to the outdoor dining space of the hotel restaurant. The 27 rooms, some of which even boast a tester bed, are furnished differently but do have common rustic-style features. Bathrooms are decorated in faenza tiles which are worldwide acknowledged as an example of local craftsman masterpiece.
After an exhausting day of golf or a day-long sightseeing tour, you can relax at the beautiful wellness centre with sauna, where you can indulge yourself in a wide range of treatments and massages, carried out by expert hands. In the mildest seasons you can round off your pleasant day just relaxing by the pool side of the outdoor swimming pool.
