Palazzo Guiscardo is named after the founder of the city of Pietrasanta. Guiscardo Pietrasanta a noble-man from Milan, bequeathed part of his property to the settlement in 1255. The historical structure was built at the end of the 19th century and is now a splendid liberty style villa. During the restoration utmost attention was paid to preserve the unique architectural elements, such as the quite particular stone plates and the gorgeous handrail dating back to that era.
