A delight, that will not let you go!

Tuscany with its mild climate and its generous earth gives the grapes and the olives an unique character. To change these treasures of nature in rich wines and smooth oil is a real passion of mine.

It will be a pleasure for me, when these products, made more with love than with knowledge, but always with respect for the antique Tuscan traditions, will remember you of your holiday in Tuscany after your return back home.

Both the wine- and the olive-oil-bottles have personalised hand-written labels to enhance the unique character of these products.

It was the year 1868 when the soap manufactory Matilda was founded, set between the Apuan Alps and the Thirrenian Sea.
In 1955 Guido Bertozzi heard for the first time of the idea to produce soaps and cosmetics out of Mother Nature’s gifts, and was that fascinated that he instantly bought the manufactory.
After he put all his wit, commitment and diligence, the company began to flourish and grow. When he got old he laid the company’s destiny in the hands of his oldest son Egisto, who perfectly knew how to combine the "vecchi saporie" - the old recipes - with the modernity of contemporary cosmetics.
For years now he masters the art of producing cosmetics based on olive oil, in order to fulfil his fathers dream.
