Lake Garda

Set amid the Alps and the river Po lays the romantic Lake Garda. The lake is embraced by the region of Venetia, Lombardy and Trentino, and as different as these regions are, the landscapes are various: in the north dominate precipitous cliffs whereas in the south the land is rather flat.
