Sardegna

With Sardinia we offer you the Caribbean in Europe! Divine, fine sand beaches, crystal-clear water, unspoilt nature and the everyday quiet!
This is the ideal venue to recharge your batteries and let off steam either by going on an excursion in the hinterland or on a sightseeing tour of the picturesque villages or just by sunbathing on one of the magnificent beaches.
The tasty, varied, high-quality Sardinian cuisine range from delicious goat cheese to fresh fish and exquisite olive oil as well as excellent white wines such as “Vermentino” and “Vernaccia”. These are just the first steps of an extraordinary “culinary journey”!

Oristano in Sardinian dilect “Oristano” means “between the dunes”. In the IX century BC in the Phoenician time, this village was an important trade centre.
Every year on Sunday before Fat Tuesday the locals celebrate the “Sartiglia”, a hoarse-riding competition during which the knights try to catch a star with their spear and where the winner is highly applauded by the public.

Sardegna

Cabras is a fishing village, renowned for the production of Sardinian caviar, the so called “bottarga”. It is a salty, thick slice of dried mullet eggs which is considered as a prestigeous delicacy. It is usually grated on pasta or eaten on butter-spreaded slices of bread that bring out its taste.
Near Cabras, there are some of the most beautiful beaches of the county, such as San Giovanni di Sinis, Funtana Meica, Mari Ermi and Is Arutas.

In San Vero Milis there are some very interesting examples of “Nuraghi”, cone-shaped, megalithic edifices dating back to 1800 and 240 BC, which were included in the UNESCO World Heritage Programme.
They are the symbol of Sardinia and its distinctive culture and recent excavations brought to light more than 700 remains.

Narbolia the beach of Is Arenas is located in Narbolia, a quiet village reflecting typical Sardinian lifestyle. The historical centre has recently been restored and in the surroundings there are some beautiful Nuraghi edifices.
